ABOUT

Glenn Grafelman is an artist who engages in painting, photography, and ceramic sculpture. Grafelman’s work abstracts personal experience and imagines the emotional and ideological landscape. “My work is about nothing and everything, and it is in this contradictory truth that I am painting both realities. My anxiety about the impossibility of painting reinforces my faith in its continued possibility.”

Glenn Grafelman lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He studied at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, University of California Berkeley, and the School of Visual Arts, NYC. Grafelman’s art has been featured in national and international exhibitions, and he has maintained studios in New York, NY, and Geneva, Switzerland.
